Do blocked people know they are blocked?

Blocked members do not receive a notification when you block them.

However, there are two interactions that reveal their blocked status:

• If they attempt to navigate to your profile, it will not show. Instead, they will see a notice stating they are blocked.

• If you have an existing conversation with the blocked user, and they open that conversation, they will see a notice stating they cannot send a message because they are blocked.

Note: If you haven't chosen to block public visitors, a blocked member does have the ability (they may not think to do it) to view your profile by logging out of their account and entering the direct web address of your profile page.
