What is a payment throttle error?

Payment throttle errors protect your card from being blocked by your bank. This happens when declined transactions are retried too quickly.

To resolve:

  1. Determine why the transaction was declined (often due to foreign transaction blocks)
  2. Contact your bank to allow foreign transactions if needed
  3. Wait 24 hours before retrying payment
