Can I delete a forum post or discussion?

You can edit your own forum posts while the Edit option is available, but members cannot delete their own discussions or replies.

We do not normally delete forum content on request. A discussion is part of a public conversation, and removing it can also remove or disrupt replies that other members took time to contribute.

Deleting your account does not automatically remove earlier forum content.

When to ask a moderator

If a post contains private information, creates a safety concern, or there is another serious reason for removal, ask a forum moderator to review it. You can find the current moderators in Forum Rules & Your Moderators.

A request does not guarantee deletion. Depending on the situation, a moderator may edit, close, move, or remove content.
