How can I tell if my account is active?

A quiet account does not mean it is inactive. Fewer profile views or messages, no reply to a message, or not finding yourself in one set of search results can all happen while your account is active.

Quick account check

1. Sign in and open Cuddlers, Messages, or Visitors from the main navigation.
2. Open Account Settings and check the mute section.

If the pages you select open, and the site is not displaying a notice that your account is suspended, banned, awaiting email verification, or needs a payment or activation step, your account is active.

If you previously deactivated your account, signing in reactivates it automatically unless payment details are required. In that case, the site tells you what to update first.

Check whether you are muted

• If Account Settings says Unmute Account, your account is active but muted.
• If it says Mute your account, your account is not muted.

A muted account is hidden from search, and people you do not already know cannot message you. You will also see the yellow You're muted notice.

Why activity may be quieter

• Search results depend on each person's location and filters, so one search is not a reliable account check.
• Whether another member replies is their choice and is not an indication that your account has stopped working.
• Profile views and messages can rise or fall over time.
