How should I screen a client before a session?
Cuddle Comfort does not vet clients or conduct background checks, so you decide whether you feel comfortable accepting each booking.
Screening is not one fixed process. The goal is to understand the client's expectations, confirm that they respect platonic boundaries, and give yourself enough information to make a decision.
Before confirming
- Read the client's profile and Karma, keeping in mind that Karma is only one source of information.
- Keep the early conversation on Cuddle Comfort so there is a clear record.
- Ask what they expect from the session, and make sure they understand that the service is strictly platonic.
- Discuss the location, session length, payment, clothing, and any boundaries that matter to you.
- Pay attention to requests for exceptions, pressure to move off the website early, inconsistent answers, or anything else that makes you uncomfortable.
You are never required to accept a client or continue a conversation. You can decline, block, or report a member when appropriate.
Calls and first meetings
For the vetting call process itself, read How do vetting calls and meet-and-greets work?. If a call or first meeting leaves you uncomfortable, you do not have to proceed with the booking.
Personal safety
Other Pros often recommend telling someone you trust where you are going, arranging a check-in, and choosing a public first meeting when that suits the situation. These are community suggestions, not a guarantee of safety.
Trust your judgment. If something feels wrong, you do not need to proceed.
