Should I return a client's deposit if they cancel?

Our guidance on deposit returns depends on how close to the session the client cancels:

• Cancellations more than 24 hours before: It's fair to return the deposit if requested.
• Cancellations between 12-24 hours: This is less clear and mostly at your discretion based on your own specific terms.
• Cancellations within 12 hours of the session: It's reasonable to keep the deposit.
