What does "timed out" mean on someone's profile?

"Timed out" means the member's account has been temporarily restricted. A timeout has an expiry date, so it is not the same as a permanent ban.

A timeout can apply to the main site, the forum, or both. If the notice appears on their Cuddle Comfort profile, the timeout applies to their main-site account.

The member may return when the timeout expires, or sooner if an appeal is accepted.

Moderation details are private, so we cannot explain why another member was timed out.
