Why don't I have a Karma star in search results?

The star over a profile thumbnail in search results appears when a profile has both:

• at least five current Karma ratings
• a five-star average

It is not a general account-status icon, and having visible Karma on your profile does not add the star on its own. If you have fewer than five current ratings, or your average falls below five stars, the star will not display.

Because hidden, deleted, or restored Karma changes the count and average used, the star can appear or disappear as your Karma changes.
