How does the 15% fee work?

Here's how payment works:

1. Clients pay you directly using your preferred method (most use cash at the session).
2. With standard billing, Cuddle Comfort automatically charges your card a 15% platform fee two days after the scheduled session. Accounts that have unlocked weekly billing may be charged on their weekly schedule instead.
3. The fee is 15% of the Total Session Price. If a percentage discount was applied, the fee is calculated from the discounted Total Session Price.

Your client's payment to you and the platform fee are separate: the platform fee is charged to your card by Cuddle Comfort, not paid by the client.

Is the fee mandatory? The fee applies to confirmed bookings. If a session does not happen, you need to cancel it within the cancellation window or request a refund to have the fee voided or refunded. A no-show does not stop the charge automatically.

Do I need to pay the fee manually? No. When a session is correctly confirmed using the booking panel, the fee is charged automatically according to your billing schedule. With standard billing, this is two days after the scheduled session. Accounts that have unlocked weekly billing may be charged on their weekly schedule instead. Has the fee always been 15%? Yes. The platform fee has always been 15% and has never increased. It has also consistently remained the lowest service fee in the professional cuddling industry.
